DYNAMIC CONTENT
One aspect of publishing to print or PDF or any other system, is that once you commit to the content, you are stuck with that outcome and cannot revise, enhance, edit or in any way modify portions of it. Even with the best digital publishing options out there, it requires deleting and republishing a replacement. We get that a lot …
"Why cant I just go in and change one line of text?"
NOW YOU CAN – PageBlend Dynamics is how:
In the CTN PageBlend system, the option to revise and make timely updates to the page text is just a click and a keystroke or 2.
When new information is available, you don't throw away the publication, you can simply go to your admin control panel and make the text edit. PageBlend is currently the only system available that can do this, and do it without impacting the look and feel. No more frantic emails for ASAP fixes to the layout team, new version, more costs. Login-edit-click update-done. That is how it should be.
Imagine being able to change the words on 20,000 printed magazines, live editing some of it's pages…? Every Laptop, tablet , Phone, iPad out there gets updated.
PageBlend Content Dynamics
We knew editing capability was desired when we first created this system, so we wired it into the feature-set to allow Dynamic Text, as part of our functional spec… to be able to choose specific pages to have text editing capability and some variations on admin panels to let you do that.
Not every page can be edited in this way, only the ones specified for allowing edits by authenticated login and password of an approved authority. This keeps your text safe and still allows you to choose the ability to change it. If you would like a demo for yourself, where you can change page content in realtime on-the-fly, your words and images — see for yourself, then please call our number at the top of the page.
These pages below are rendered and formatted by page rules, the text is read form an external editable file. ( Using FULLSCREEN will disable alpha-numeric keys )
On page left is text with a link a the bottom to the actual file used, – click the underlined link in the page to see it, back button on your browser to return to the book.
On page right is an excerpt from an epub file – typical of the freely downloadable eBooks available on many sites for Kindle and Nook content.
Links, Italics, Bold, are controlled in the textfile, font face and type size, column justification and line spacing are controlled in the page, maintaining visual consistency and essential design layout integrity. Best of both worlds, and you are not required to have the Chapter header design that is enforced by typical reader software.
Click Select:FULLSCREEN bottom center of the book, to properly see text rendering at its intended size.
