The CTN PageBlend lookbook and CTN digital edition publications can autorun by auto timed page turning in “kiosk mode”, loop continuously and be presented at any size, though the best execution of this application is for 1080p fullscreen HD.
Below is an example of the W Hollywood Residences Brochure running at 10 seconds per page turn, in this case it is not set for waiting on video completion.

In-place operation includes the ability to interrupt autoplay by simply interacting normally with the book, when done, autoplay will automatically resume.
Versions can be created that play animations and videos to completion prior to auto-turn, run from USB MEMORY devices – see below
DIGITAL SIGNAGE
A growing application area is Trade Event (booth/suite), Lobby and Entry-point flatscreen presentation. The PageBlend system has been tested and displayed that way with stunning results for attracting attention to featured aspects of its presence. The page-turning display seems to engage better than the traditional digital signage which tends to get ignored.
For that reason we have a page swapping admin system to allow the publication owner to change page sequence and have edit-on-the-fly dynamic text page content… making a daily our hourly updates to the display be a rather simple process. If for example you have 5 venue entry locations with flatscreens, you need only change one file to update them all with the latest video or event information. Of Course if some of those flatscreens are touch enabled, then visitors may easily interact with the content, look through a few catalog items, seek an event time/location.

USB MEMORY
The CTN Digital Books can be deployed in and run from a USB memory device as a flash executable file.
Typically 1gb is plenty of space to display all the video content in High Definition.
When Trade Events and dubious wireless internet connections are present, this is by far the most reliable and rewarding way to hand out, deliver and show off a digital publication.
Books can be run directly from the stick with no downloading, and employ an option to auto-play for HD screens that may be available. CTNdigital can supply a ready-to-use software package that can be copied to the root USB MEMORY file-system, such that you may choose whatever USB vendor you prefer for your marketing needs.
The main benefit here is that there is no bandwidth problem with a local memory device, allowing for the very highest quality bit-rates for video and visual content, and this has great value when displayed on high definition 1080p screens. There is no longer any need to be concerned about network speed or wireless access quality, its all on the stick.
Without a doubt this is the way to distribute a paperless and sustainable image to your advertisers and consumers, since the carbon-cost of USB memory devices is 1/1000th that of paper production and printing.
